APPEL hosts inauguralCultivating Connections event

APPEL held its inaugural Cultivating Connections eventon 9 October. The event was organised to provide APPELplacement providers and pharmacy students with anopportunity to meet each other in a relaxed setting and buildlasting relationships for the future. Hosted in the RCSI’sExamination Hall, guests had the opportunity to meet pastand present classmates, colleagues, peers, and friends.Over 130 people attended the event with representativesfrom Boots, Lloyds Pharmacy, McCabe’s, McCauley’s,Novartis, HSE Addictions Services, the PSI, and moreshowcasing the career and development opportunitiesin their organisations. There were also academics,researchers, and the Heads of School from the Schools ofPharmacy in UCC, RCSI, and Trinity, providing informationon postgraduate opportunities in each institution.
