References(18) Cited-By(4) The influence of the ignition power and the size of the ignition source on the fire growth in full scale room fire tests is studied. The fire test room and its instrumentation are described. The results of a test series with three ignition powers and three burner sizes in a fire test room lined with chipboard are given. In the experiments the following variables were measured : gas temperature, total heat flux to the floor, smoke production, and rate heat release.
