Since the last thirty five years, the digital FIR (Infinite Impulse Response) filter has become one of the essential Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and communication components therefore the configuration strategies of digital FIR (Infinite Impulse Response) filter have been researched in several aspects such as accuracy, efficiency, complexity and processing time. As a result, this research editorial piece mathematically analyzes the performance of the digital FIR (Infinite Impulse Response) filter based on window techniques: Rectangular, Barlett, Hann, Hamming and Blackman because the window technique is one of the most practical and easiest of FIR filtering designs. In the comparative analyzed studied case, mathematical investigated experiment of low pass FIR filter design strategy based on Rectangular, Barlett, Hann, Hamming and Blackman has been analyzed in both mathematic and simulation perspective. From the simulation results, the frequency output amplitude (in dB) of the each low pass FIR filter design strategy based on Rectangular, Barlett, Hann, Hamming and Blackman are determined and the characteristic comparison of each window types are presented.
