摘要

Gastro Retentive Drug Delivery System (GRDDS) is most advantageous for increasing gastric residence time of drug and to achieve site specific drug delivery in upper GIT. GRDDS treats GI diseases by releasing the drug locally. This will leads to high concentration of drug at the gastric mucosa and sustain release of drug can be achieve. GRDDS empowers prolonged and continuous release of the drug to the upper GIT.
