摘要

Vibration analysis is fundamental in enhancingcondition monitoring and fault diagnostics of control unit inswash plate pumps. Several signal analysis methods are used toobtain useful information from vibration signatures. Presently,the most of these methods use spectral analysis based onFourier Transform (FT). However, these methods exhibit somelimitations; it is the case of transient signals when theirregularity is the pattern. In the present paper, we areinterested to apply Discrete Wavelet Analysis (DWA) to thevibration signal analysis. The DWT is one of the most promisingmethods for signal processing; it is especially convenient fortransient vibration measurements obtained from accelerometersensors. The monitoring results indicate that the DWT candiagnose the abnormal change in the measured data.
