In this paper we present a geospatial Information service (Location service) LOSAD, for police forces which is based on Mobile Ad hoc networks. It uses wireless technology, adhoc networks and location services to address the needs of police officers on duty and of those in the control rooms. The service focuses on mobile officers, who operate in real time to provide citizen security, response services, and investigative capabilities. The primary focus is on the advantages that Mobile Adhoc Networks offer to the society. We show it by proposing LOSAD.
