RETROFITTING SCHEME FOR FLY ASH GANTRY OF ACC GAGAL CEMENT PLANT

Repair of existing steel shed was badly damaged due to severe corrosion. Severe permanent geometric deformation was noticed on the structure. Structural repair works are to be executed without disturbing the day to day operation of the plant.Steel column members were most crucially affected due impact from loader and severe corrosion. RCC Jacketing is very popular technique adopted by structural engineer for strengthening technique. Anti corrosive paint was used and RCC jacketing around steel column was done to strengthen steel columns. Retrofitting work was very effective and fruitful.
