REPAIR TECHNIQUE OF OLD RCC CANOPY STRUCTURE

摘要

One old RCC Canopy structure of a petrol pump was repaired in a very congested place of Kolkata without disturbing normal operation of the pump. Severe corrosion related distress was noticed on RCC canopy. Due to severe corrosion concrete at soffit level of canopy got delaminated. One temporary platform was made to create working space for repair. Single packed PMM and micro concrete was was used to repair. Anti corrosive treatment was used to reduce further chance of corrosion. Repair works were found to be very effective and fruitful.
