摘要

Due to the increasing size of data intensiveapplications , the datasets are need to be stored in a distributedmanner and multiple copies of data sets has to be replicated toprovide easier access to the cloud applications. In these kindsof systems, scheduling is a key challenge because of thelocation of data and heterogeneity of a node by holdingmultiple types of data sets in the same location. We propose apromising technique to schedule the cloud applications, usingsemantic based classification. Our algorithm classifies thecloud resources according to the semantic meanings of datasets it holds, using which it identifies the data location whichare necessary for the cloud applications to be executedsuccessfully.
