Multiport Analysis of Hexagonal Patch Antenna

摘要

This paper demonstrates application of multiport analysis technique to a hexagonal patch antenna.    The multiport analysis technique  is  applied  to  construct  a  lumped  element circuit  model of a hexagonal patch antenna.  FEM simulation of the hexagonal patch is also performed and the e?ect of varying  patch  dimension is observed. The  results  show  that  a  basic  hexagonal  patch  structure   results  in patch size reduction compared to rectangular patch for the same center frequency.
