摘要

Limnological investigations concentrated on water characteristics including temperature, dissolved oxygen, electric conductivity, transparency and pH in two sites. Morpho-edaphic Index was used for estimating the potential fish yield. The highest average of the fish potential yield in Jebel Aulia reservoir was in summer 2008 equivalent to 90.164 kg/ha/yr and that of Kosti site was in winter about 113.023 kg/ha/yr. The calculated averages for the overall potential yield for the whole year in Jebel Aulia reservoir dam average was 77.213 kg/ha/yr and Kosti site was average 94.263kg/ha/yr.
