Thisstudy wasconducted to evaluate theeffectofplantingdensity onsome quantitativetraitsbeancos16 line. The experiment was carried outsplit plot base on randomized complete block design with three replications at the Agricultural Research Station Borujerdin crop year 2009-2010. Inthis study themain plots was row spacing including25, 50and75 cmwith signs ofA1, A2andA3and subplots included threedensitiesof 30, 40and50plants persquare metermarksB1, B2andB3.Each plotconsisted of7lineswith length6m. andbetween each two plot one line was considered as thenoplantingline. Aftersoil testing, land plowedand onthetenth ofMay,diskoperationsandground leveling, plantingwas performed. Thefertilizerwasappliedbased on soil test. In additiontoweed controlherbicideTerflan(2 litersper hectare) was used.During the growth period combat pests was done. At harvesting time, number of branches, pod length, number of seeds per pod, seed weight, biological yield and grain yield were measured.Experimental resultsshowed that thegrain yieldper hectare atspacingbetweenrows, anddifferentdensitiesweresignificantatthe 5% level.Maximumproductionper unit areawas obtained in themaximumdistancebetween therowsand thehighest density
