An aircraft is a complex, inherentlymultidisciplinary product that requires real time global collaborationfor Design,Manufactureand Service. Digital engineering processes play an intelligent role inproduct andprocess designfrom concept to retirement, which is around 70 years. The entire engineering data ishierarchicallystructuredand traced throughout the lifecycleunder strictConfiguration Control (CC). Thisrequires an accurate, easilycommunicableDigitalMock-Up(DMU)as a Virtual 3D-static and dynamicplatform for, real-timeconcurrent engineeringthrough wide collaboration, a sample of which is presentedherein.Holistically, this requires a networkedProduct Lifecycle Management (PLM)system as anIntegrated Digital Environment (IDE) for engineering (primary and continuous improvement) for lifecycleof the aircraft.The latest feature in PLM is the use of ModelBased Engineering
