The adoption of contemporary information technology by businessesin Kenya andEastAfricais on therise. This isespecially due to thefall in price of hardware and the availability ofaffordablesoftware.Somebusinesseshave adoptedstand alone systemsfor purposes of enhancing the operational efficiencyof theirbranches. An affordabletoolthatwould monitor theactivities of eachbranch remotelyand provideinformationto the manager(s)isrequired.
