Sobre un terreno situado fuera de la ciudad, pero no muy distante y con vistas a ella, en una ladera de la colina Rebhügel, en Hegenheim, apenas distante 10 m de su punto más alto y protegida del viento por la propia colina, ha sido construida esta vivienda unifamiliar. En ella son dignas de destacar la estructura y su original cubierta laminar de doble curvatura, de madera, construida a base de tres capas —de listones— de 15 mm de espesor cada una, superpuestas transversalmente y encoladas a presión. El ambiente de tranquilidad y de reposo que en la vivienda se respira es, asimismo, uno de los detalles de consecución ambiental más logrado.↓On a site outside the town, but close to and with a good view of it, on the side of Rebhügel, only 10 m from the top of the hill, where it is protected from the wind by the hillside, a single family house has been constructed. The structure and the original, double curvature, timber thin shell roof, made in three layers, each 15 mm thick, running transversally to each other, and glued under pressure, constitute outstanding features of this project. The sense of calm and restfulness experienced withing this house is a further highly successful aspect resulting from the layout of this house.
