Spinal cord tissue harvested after euthanizing animals were used in assays for anti-oxidant sta- tus/oxidative stress, RT-PCR and Western blot for gene expressions, and histology. Motor recovery was assessed through BBB, Narrow Beam walking test and ladder walking task.
