In December 2018, ASTM International became the first standards development organization to win an award from America Makes, the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Institute. The “Advancing Additive Manufacturing Post_x005f Processing Techniques” award of US$800,000, funded through the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory, will be supplemented by US$400,000 in in-kind support from project team partners.
