Using the algebraic model, in this work a study of the vibrational spectra of H2S and H2O16 has been reported. To give a deep insight into detailed spectroscopy for these bent XY2 molecules, the inclusion of intermode couplings in algebraic models has been addressed. The aid of a new set of improved algebraic parameters to achieve improved RMS deviations also has been studied for these bent XY2 molecules
