Evaluation and Improvement of Web Information System Accessibility with Markup Language Possibilities

摘要

Markup languages are used to describe the contentpublished in the World Wide Web. Aim of this article is toanalyze hypertext markup language versions and identifypossibilities of improvement accessibility for the web informationsystems with markup language elements appropriate application.Analysis of the document structure is performed. Documentstructure and text description elements are selected. Selectedelements are practically evaluated with screen readers. From theevaluation results, it can be seen that markup languagepossibilities for accessibility improvement can be significant.
