摘要

Fluorescein semicarbazide (1) was synthesized and developed as a novel fluorescent probe for the highly selective and rapid detection of hypochlorite (ClOa?’) in aqueous solution. The signaling mechanism was proposed based on ESI-MS identification of the oxidation product and captured chlorinated intermediate species.
