Evaluation of fish consumption and environmental concern in the UAE: Challenges and opportunities

摘要

The purpose of this research is to explore fish consumption specifically in the United Arab Emirates. It aims to research the challenges facing the UAE by the increased fish consumption and the opportunities that the aquaculture in the UAE offers. The paper has discussed the different kinds of literature regarding the topic and the effect of the increased fish consumption on the aquaculture in the UAE. In order to meet the aim of the research, a primary research has been conducted. The sampling size was dependent on the exploratory research method. Questionnaires were distributed to random UAE respondents and random base sampling approach was used. The gathered data was then analyzed and discussed systematically. And finally, the research was concluded with the research outcomes and discussion along with the future recommendation.
