The LHCb detector is designed for precise measurements of beautyand charm quark decays and searching for new physics beyond the StandardModel. Its precise tracking, excellent particle identification and hightrigger efficiency allow to measure the CKM matrix parameters with unprecedentedaccuracy. Selected results regarding decays of beauty mesonsto final states containing open charm particles as well as the descriptionof data analysis techniques applied for such complicated multibody decaysare presented.
