摘要

The solution of the Maxwell's equations by means of the nite timedomain di erence method (FDTD) is used to describe the propagationof the electromagnetic eld [1]. The method consists of transferring thedi erential equations of Maxwell to a discrete formulation, both spa-tially and temporally, that allows coding them and implementing them in an algorithm that provides a numerical solution, which provides a vi-sual overview of the physical behavior of electromagnetic waves for twodimensions. The applications of this method to solve di erent types ofproblems are diverse and o er adaptability for cases where the geome-try of the problem becomes more complex to analyze. So this techniqueprovides a tool capable of being applied to various disciplines of sciencewith which it is possible to study systems and quantify the phenomenaproduced by electromagnetic activity successfully.
