Greener Spectrum

摘要

While the range between 540 - 610 in terahertz (THz) is (literally) the "green" portion of theelectromagnetic spectrum, that isn't what we are going to discuss here. This article introduces theconcept of the electromagnetic spectrum as a critical resource in the study of climate change. TheDepartment of the Navy electromagnetic spectrum community supports many different radio andtelecommunication technologies including equipment for weather and climate change monitoring,prediction, detection and mitigation in the event of hurricanes, typhoons, thunderstorms,earthquakes, tsunamis, man-made disasters, and more.
