摘要

Summary The present article presents the types of documents that are produced and annexed to a falling process, leaving of the IPHAN - Institute of National Historic site and Artistic, and IPHAEP - Historical and Artistic Institute of the Paraíba, as Institutions that rescue the documentary information of a society. It shows the importance of the rescue of the process of informacional register, with intention to facilitate the access of the society to the knowledge.
