摘要

Following the success of the Built and Human Environment 8th International Postgraduate Research Conference, held in Prague 2008, bringing together a broad range of researchers and research papers covered by various research themes under the umbrella of the Built and Human Environment, it is with great pleasure that we launch this special issue which is mainly focused on Postgraduate Research in this area. This issue shares the contribution of researchers from different parts of the world stretching from the UK, to Hong Kong, New Zealand and the United Arab Emirates. The authors address various research themes to include the use of Information Technology, Education, Liveability aspects for tenants and buyers as well as mobility and finally thermal transmittance energy efficiency.
