The silicone sealant bite depth for any double- glass panel is obtained by complex stress analysis. We obtain the optimum air space between the outer and the inner layer of glass by considering the minimu m heat transfer across the small air space. Such an air space ranges from h/133 to h/60. Radiation is not to be discussed here.
