352 faecal samples from calves were collected in eight Mitidjas farms in Algeria in order to appreciate feacal shedding of C. parvum, E. coli F5+ and Salmonella. The results showed that C. parvum is the most identified agent (28.9%) compared to E. coli F5+ (2.6%) and Salmonella (1.2%). The parasite and E. coli F5+ were significantly observed in unhealthy calves than in healthy (33.1% vs 13.4% and 3.9% vs 0.7%) respectivelly. On the opposite, no difference was recorded for Salmonella (0.8% vs 0.7%). Cryptosporidia frequently isolated in calves of 8-14 days old (55.3%). Contrary, the infection with E. coli F5+ and Salmonella were mostly observed at 1-7 days (6.1%) and 1-2 month of age (5%) respectivelly.
