The Palmer House Hotel in Chicago was the scene of the Seventy-eighth Annual Meeting of the Medical Library Association, Inc., June 10-15, 1978. Irwin H. Pizer was chairman of the Local Arrangements Committee, assisted by Cochairman Miriam H. Libbey and members David A. Kronick, Ph.D., Gertrude Lorber, Phyllis Mirsky, Dorothy Mueller, Reginald Smith, Martha Stone, Jacqueline Windler, and Martha Jane K. Zachert, D.L.S. Eight subcommittees were staffed by eighty-six other individuals.
