Larval development stages and husbandry of the Rice Frog Microhyla mukhlesuri Hasan et al., 2014 (Anura: Microhylidae)

We describe captive management and larval development of Microhyla mukhlesuri, a recently describedmicrohylid frog from Bangladesh, southern Yunnan, Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam, at the scientific animal keeping facilityof the Zoological Research Museum Alexander Koenig (ZFMK). Beginning at Gosner stage 25, for each larval stagedetailed characteristics are provided and additionally developmental time is compared to other members of the genusMicrohyla. Herein, we present first observations on captive reproduction of the species.
