Increase efficiency with plant-wide maintenance

At one time, it was common practice for maintenance engineers simply to wait for equipment to fail before carrying out repairs. This inefficient approach has now largely been replaced by more proactive maintenance programmes, incorporating an increasing choice of diagnostic tools and software, which enable engineers to manage maintenance and repairs far more effectively. However, without a strategy in place to ensure these programmes are implemented cohesively throughout a plant, it remains difficult for managers and machine operators to achieve optimum productivity.
