Converteam scooped top honours at this year's Sentinel Business Awards 2009. The company received the International Trade Award for its outstanding achievements as an established exporter of variable speed drives, including the MV3000 used in the most rnadvanced wind turbines. Becoming a prominent player in the global renewable energy market in just three years, Converteam's sales exceeded £95 million in 2008, 95% of which were with customers in Denmark and the USA.
