SURVEY REVEALS UNEASE ABOUT H&S LEGISLATION

Britain's manufacturers are urging the UK government to redouble efforts to build an alliance with other EU member states to reduce the burden of health and safety (H&S) legislation and remove unnecessary bureaucracy. The call was made on the back of an annual H&S survey by the Engineering Employers' Federation (EEF) showing companies' concern at proposals for yet more legislation.
