The Mobile, Alabama Public Safety Complex, designed by John Dendy & Associates, Architects, was constructed in response to the City of Mobile's expansion towards the Regional Airport. The public safety super station includes Police Precinct No. 5 and the Fire & Rescue Station. The air space cone of the Regional Airport's runway dictated the building's location and height. The architect situated the new complex on 3.5 acres. The site gently slopes 6 feet across to the west to meet the airport property.
