Young Burlington Apartments

Young Burlington apartments in inner city Los Angeles provide affordable supportive housing for at-risk young adults, including formerly homeless youth and young adults emancipated from foster care. The development comprises twenty compact one-bedroom units with a two-bedroom apartment for the full-time manager; along with communal spaces including a meeting room, lounge, computer room, laundry, and social services offices for a full-time programmer and two caseworkers. The building is arranged on three sides of a courtyard opening to the south. Communal spaces and the manager's apartment open directly into the courtyard. Apartments are single-loaded on galleries above the courtyard. The paved portion of the courtyard is built over underground (city required) parking.
