U.S. NAVY ORDERS NUCLEAR PROPULSION WORK FROM BECHTEL PLANT MACHINERY

Bechtel Plant Machinery Inc. has been awarded a $98,523,846 cost-plus-fixed-feemodification to a previously-awarded contract (N00024-19-C-2112), from the United States Navy, for navalnuclear propulsion components.Work will be performed in Monroeville, Pennsylvania (74%); and Schenectady, New York (26%).Fiscal 2021 other procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $96,446,444 (98%); and fiscal 2021 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) fundsin the amount of $2,077,402 (2%) will be obligated at time of award and funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
