The last 12 months have seen a shift in the defence sector, from traditional classroom learning towards real life learning performed on the job, which is experienced within realistic and engaging environments and supported through the use of mobile and 3D/360-degree immersive environments. The army's recent Operation Numerika project is testimony to this.
