In his pursuit of delivering new equipment and required improvements to existing vehicles in the land domain, Lt Col Wills tells DMJ that the motorsport industry has a lot to offer.rn"The motorsport industry thrives - and in fact lives - on short-notice requirements," explains the Colonel. "Between races, things have to made better for next time. They [motorsport companies] tend to be organisations that have to get it right first time, or they go out of business. This engenders within them an ability to get it right first time." This puts them in a very good position to work on defence projects, especially UORs.
