Talking sensors

Scientists, technicians and engineers at the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) have been conducting experimental trials at Porton Down with industry partners from the Electro Magnetic Remote Sensing (EMRS) Defence Technology Centre (DTC) to develop a new counterterrorist surveillance system. The trial, named Hydravision II, seeks to combine cutting-edge sensor technologies and data interpretation techniques into an integrated intelligence gathering network.
