Effective, efficient and safe military Air Traffic Management (ATM) is a key aspect of air operations. ATM meets the need for airspace safety whilst maintaining the tactical freedom for military aircraft in all weathers and at all times.rnIt's no secret that the MoD is looking to reduce costs, even in functions critical for operations such as ATM. This presents a challenge but also offers an opportunity to review and optimise military air traffic services across the board going forward.
