Skanska (in JV with Aker Solutions) is working in partnership with Anglian Water within the @One Alliance. The Alliance works as a single co-located team, using the philosophy of ensuring that the best person for the job is used to deliver the capital programme. The commercial model encourages collaboration amongst the Alliance partners who are incentivised to outperform, whilst any underperformance reduces a shared fund. This encourages and requires the sharing of best practice for the benefit of all and results in year on year improvement efficiencies, because all organisations are commercially linked to the overall performance and delivery of the annual capital programme. Skanska is able to offer their global expertise including specialist advice about environment, health and safety and quality to the benefit of our Alliance partners.
