At first glance, the Everyware 2000 ISDN router from Combinet Inc. doesn't look like much of a trailblazer. Its core features—including spoofing, remote configuration, and standards-based channel aggregation—are all standard issue on several other ISDN routers now on the market. But scan down to the bottom line, and Everyware's importance becomes clear. At a price of just under $1,000, the Combinet product is about half the cost of competing boxes.
