Europe's dairy industry is currently in a state of transition towards a less heavily-subsidised and more internationally competitive sector - but it still has a long way to go before it catches up with the world's leading producer regions.rnThis is the key finding from an important new Special Report from Dairy Markets, which is available for sale now.rnAccording to the 116-page European Dairy Industry Outlook to 2020, Europe can be expected to maintain and consolidate its position in its traditional export markets.
