IDF's Elie Metchnikoff Prize 2010 celebrates fermented milks

The second edition of The IDF Elie Metchnikoff Prize 2010 recognises and celebrates outstanding scientific discoveries in the fields of microbiology, biotechnology, nutrition and health with regard to fermented milks and promotes further research and innovation in the dairy industry. Organized by IDF and its partners, Institut Pasteur Paris and the International Scientific Association for Probiotics and Prebiotics (ISAPP), this initiative is supported by industry partners including Yakult, Danone Research, Nestle, Mead Johnson, DSM Food Specialties, YLFA-Intemational, Danisco, Chr. Hansen and the California Dairy Research Foundation.
