Milk Link adds production facility in UK

UK cheese producer Milk Link has begun work on the first phase of a new production facility at its Cornish Country Larder (CCL) Trevarrian Creamery to meet growing customer demand for British soft cheeses. The dairy concern says the £4m (€4.5m) first-phase investment at the site in North Cornwall - due to be completed by autumn 2011 - will "substantially increase production... to meet a growing demand from major retailers and food service providers nationwide".
