Emmi increases turnover in 2010

Marketing innovative dairy products on the home market enabled Switzerland's largest milk processor Emmi to achieve a 0.4% increase in its 2010 domestic turnover to CHF1.95 billion (€1.48bn). Emmi's turnover increase was actually much higher for business outside Switzerland (+ 8.4% to €558m) but much of this was due to income from successful acquisitions such as Emmi Roth US and the expansion of Italian business through cooperation with Venchiaredo and the popular Trentinalatte brand there.
