摘要

Biochemical genetic marking as well as the analysis of ploidy and sexual structure of green frog populations of the Transcarpathian Plain have shown that this locality is inhabited by unisexual populations consisting of allodiploid females only. Variability of their genomes is insignificant as compared with gene diversity of the marsh frog. The phenomenon is discussed with respect to the problem of reproduction of a unisexual populations. We propose that those hybrid populations of the Transcarpathian Plain reproduce through parthenogenesis.
