MUSEO DEL FUTURO A DUBAI: un anello d'argento che brilla nel deserto

An incubator for ideas, a driver for innovation and a showcase for the future of science and technology, the Museum of the Future will comprise exhibition spaces, offices and laboratories. The oval building will be on a landscaped hill-like three-floor podium and will have a total height of 78 meters, and a floor area of 30,000 m~2. The Museum will be covered by a metal-clad with intricate window designs in representing the elegant forms of the Arabic calligraphy. The whole of the building process has been developed and pre-visualized in a 5D BIM model. The building has been developed in virtual reality before the first spade broke ground. The project will be handing over to client Meraas Holding within 2019. Construction began in 2017. The criteria for planning choices, the approach to design and the description of the main assembly phases that make this challenge of modern engineering fascinating have passed into the memory.%Il Museum of the Future sarà un incubatore di idee e progetti avveniristici, un motore per l'innovazione, una vetrina per il futuro della scienza e della tecnologia e una meta per inventori e imprenditori. L'edifìcio, a forma ovale, si troverà su un podio paesaggistico a tre piani a forma di collina ed avrà un'altezza totale di 78 metri e una superficie di 30.000 m~2. L'opera sarà rivestita con facciate in acciaio inossidabile e vetro con intricati disegni di finestre che richiamano le forme eleganti della calligrafia araba. L'intero processo di costruzione è stato creato e pre-visualizzato in un modello BIM 5D. L'impresa di costruzioni consegnerà l'opera al cliente Meraas Holding entro il 2019. La costruzione è iniziata nel 2017.
