Today's transportation industry is witnessing an accelerated rate of change that mimics the innovation rate in high-tech industries. This broad spectrum of technology advancements is driving the deployment of cleaner, more efficient mobility solutions, from intelligent end-to-end connectivity and alternative and electrified propulsion to the development of highly automated and autonomous driving systems. The industry-wide vision for next-generation, connected, electrified, autonomous vehicles requires advancements not only in the underlying mechanical and software systems, but in the supporting infrastructure, legislation, supply chain, and collaborative processes. This will ensure solutions adhere to the highest safety and security standards while delivering the seamless driving experience customers demand.
