100,000 travel on Olympics community transport shuttle buses

Accessible shuttles provided by 24 community transport organisations carried close to 100,000 spectators during the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics this summer. The free services for spectators with disabilities were hailed by government and the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) as one of the transport success stories of the Olympics, with the number of passengers exceeding expectations.
